We didn’t do much work with the Nuffield Foundation, but it is always nice to be asked, and talking to old colleagues many have been surprised that we had any involvement at all.
Many will wonder what a ‘weaving guide’ was: you are not alone. Basically it was a guide showing where mathematics could be ‘seen’ in the world around us e.g. understanding price index by plotting the rise in the price of a box of cereal.
Of course, the completion date was not one to easily forget – Chris’s birthday!
